Lenzerheide World Cup Recap: Anniversary Celebrations, World Cup Wins, and Podiums

The fourth round of the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup brought the world's best riders to Lenzerheide, Switzerland, for a weekend of elite Downhill and Cross-Country competition. For the TRP and TEKTRO family, the event held even greater significance as we celebrated two major milestones: 40 years of TEKTRO and 20 years of TRP.

Lenzerheide also provided the perfect stage to introduce the new EVO PRO Anniversary Edition, bringing together athletes, mechanics, media, distributors, and partners from across the World Cup paddock to celebrate the brand's heritage and the people who have helped shape it over the past four decades.

The weekend was highlighted by a historic victory from Anna Newkirk, who captured her first UCI Downhill World Cup win.

The result marked the first World Cup victory by an American woman in downhill racing in 23 years and represented a major milestone in both her career and the sport.

With the win, Newkirk moves into second place overall in the World Cup standings, further establishing herself as one of the leading contenders in the 2026 championship battle.

Asa Vermette Returns to the Podium

The Frameworks Racing team celebrated another podium finish as Asa Vermette secured third place in Elite Men's Downhill.

Following two rounds where results didn't fully reflect his speed, Asa reminded the world why he remains one of the brightest young talents in downhill racing. His podium finish continues an impressive rookie Elite campaign and adds another World Cup podium to his growing list of achievements.

Looking Ahead

With Lenzerheide in the books, the World Cup heads next to La Thuile, Italy, where our athletes will once again battle for podiums in both Downhill and Cross-Country competition.

After La Thuile, the series moves to one of the most anticipated events of the season—our home World Cup round in Andorra.

Momentum is building, confidence is high, and we're excited to see what the next chapter of the 2026 season brings.
